1928 is a mixed media finished artwork. Image size is 5" x 7" matted to 8" x 10" and ready to frame. Artwork was created in 2005 by myself. The background is a muted blue accented with French text and features a female portrait looking out through her prized jewels. A faux postage stamp sets the scene for the artwork along with the phrase Bonjour. This is a one-of a kind (OOAK) artwork.  I've felt like exploring the concept and meaning of doors, windows and portals of late. So many layers of meaning. Mixed media pages with gelliprinted backgrounds using Arteza metallic fabric paint in steel blue, metallic fabric paint in light gold, and arteza metallic acrylic in pearl glacier blue . Anita's metallic stone was also used in the print. Anemic writing done with carbon ink and a platinum nib pen. Stamping done with jet black Ranger archival ink. Upcycled wrapping paper gelliprintednwith Arteza light gold metallic fabric paint. Gelliprinted tissue using Anita's metallic stone acrylic paint. Images stamped with Ranger archival ink in coffee, potting soil, and jet black. Arteza's fabric paints work well on the gelliplate as well as with other types of acrylic paints.  The golds are heavily pigmented and have lots of shimmer.  Ranger's archival inks work well with the thin layers of paint on the tissue paper to create crisp images.  

Christmas Tree Book

 Green Christmas tree book. Gold glitter star brad binds the book pages together. Books contain either 9 or 10 green pages. The book can be used as a book or taken apart and used as single die cuts. Trees measure approximately 4.25 inches across at the base and approximately 4 inches tall. Pages work great for collage or gel pen.

Copper Eyed Bat Book

 Copper Eyed Bat Book. Copper brads are used for the eyes of the book and to bind the pages together. Book contains 10 black pages (including front and back). The book may be taken apart and used as single die cuts as well. The wingspan of the book measures approximately 6 inches. The book measures approximately 3.25 inches from tip of the ears to the toes. Pages work great with gel pens or for collage.

Panda Travel Journal Spread

Here's a look at my latest art journal spread.  It's a panda themed travel journal spread.  Backgrounds were gelliprinted using Arteza metallic pearl pastel green, Arteza metallic glacier blue, Arteza iridescent playful blue and Anita's stone metallic paint.  Stamps were printed using Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black.  The panda ephemera was from a menu from a Chinese restaurant.  The sketchbook is 5.5" x 8.5".
