New Series----"Icons"

Just finished up the first of a new series titled "Icons".  It is a 5" x 7" mixed media collage piece.  It's done on Canson Mixed Media paper.

Behind the scenes

Lots has been going on behind the scenes.  The day job is as hectic as always.  Behind the day job, I've been working on unpacking boxes, sorting items, and working on a "studio purge".  As time has passed, my artistic focuses have shifted and some items no longer serve my purpose.  I'm working on gathering these things together and these will be listed on eBay as a way to raise money, clean out the studio, and fund new artistic ventures.  This will consist primarily of rubber stamps, books, and artwork that I want to move on to new homes.   I've also been working on revising my website and putting  products in my shop.  Working on listing the products is a little more complex than I had imagined and I need to make sure I am posting the downloadable files in the right locations.  New products listings will be sent out using FB, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Returning to Blog

Hi Everyone-- 
Sorry for the hiatus.  Sometimes life just seems to get in the way of things and you need to take a break.  I have been doing lots of things but have not been showing all the work behind the scenes so to speak.  There has been lots going on.  I have just posted 2 links to original artwork from my new series that is for sale on Etsy and Ebay.  I am having mixed results from both sites and I'm not sure which one will be the best to showcase all that will be coming with the new series.  Please check back to see what's happening.

This is a collectible original artist canvas panel.  It is a mixed media collage created  from a canvas panel, ephemera, up-cycled embellishments, paint and paper.   This is a 3-D piece that is raised off the surface of the canvas panel.  Each canvas  is a unique, one of a kind artwork signed by the artist.  These look great matted on  black and placed in a shadowbox frame or displayed on a table top on an easel.   The canvas is flat and is not mounted on stretcher bars.   Size: 4” x 4”; thickness varies depending on embellishments.     Free economy shipping.
