 I've felt like exploring the concept and meaning of doors, windows and portals of late. So many layers of meaning. Mixed media pages with gelliprinted backgrounds using Arteza metallic fabric paint in steel blue, metallic fabric paint in light gold, and arteza metallic acrylic in pearl glacier blue . Anita's metallic stone was also used in the print. Anemic writing done with carbon ink and a platinum nib pen. Stamping done with jet black Ranger archival ink. Arteza's fabric paints work well on the gelliplate as well as with other types of acrylic paints.  The golds are heavily pigmented and have lots of shimmer.  Ranger's archival inks work well with the thin layers of paint on the tissue paper to create crisp images.
