The Watchers  is a mixed media original artwork created on an 11" x 14" canvas panel.  Materials include fabric, acrylic paints, and rhinestones.  Imagery includes a white winged rose adorned with rhinestones.  Three pink watchers are in the foreground.

Rose Queen

This is single art journal page.   It was done on an un-gessoed page. I think overall the pages in this journal turn out best when gessoed first, but this was one of the first pages, so it was an experiment.  The markers tend to bleed through the paper without the gesso.  Graphix markers by derwent, daler rowney acrylics inks, colored pencil, black archival ink and graphite were used on the page.

Gothic Romance

Gothic Romance--mixed media journal page
This is my completed journal page from Day 3 of the Creative Jumpstart Summit 2013.  I titled it Gothic Romance.  The page is done in a sketchbook on Canson's multimedia paper.  I used a dictionary page, black card stock, acrylic paints, perfect pearls mists and embellishments.  The image was printed on an inkjet printed and sprayed with krylon workable fixative before adhering to the page.  Now if only he could come off the page and be real!!!
