Craft Mats and Gel Pens

As a mixed media artist, I use a wide range of media including watercolors, acrylics, inks and a wide range or glue.  I need a surface that is durable and easy to clean.  I used the non-stick teflon craft mats.  I can use a plastic scraper or credit card  to clean the mat for storage.  I keep the mats rolled and stored in an old paper towel roll.

An an mixed media artist, I love a little bling in my artwork.  I've tried a lot of different types of gel pens with sparkle and have found that the Pentel Sparkle Pop Pens are absolutely fabulous.  The pens work over a wide range of media including acrylics and gesso.  These even hold their sparkle under thin layers of acrylic varnish.

"Live " Interview on Twitch at Kaleidoscope Venue for the Arts

This is the first interview I've done with a gallery since I moved to Florida in 2009.  Kaleidoscope Venue for the Arts is a local gallery in the industrial district in Longwood, FL.  I've been working with his gallery recently, participating in the weekly shows.  It's a great venue and is very support of the art community.  I'm grateful for the opportunities they are offering the local artists.  Check out the interview on Twitch and be sure to follow the channel for future artist interviews and live events from the gallery shows.  The link is listed below.
